The Sandwich Factory - Prineville, Oregon

Welcome back to another installment of Restaurant Spotlight!

Food Challenge News recently traveled to central Oregon to spotlight delicious food, unique restaurants, and more.

The Sandwich Factory is a restaurant and catering company established in Prineville over 40 years ago.

In November 2015, Woody and Celena purchased The Sandwich Factory. The restaurant continued feeding Prineville sandwiches, burgers, salads, baked goods, and more.

We arrived at The Sandwich Factory in the early afternoon. There was already a line forming, with hungry guests deciding on what they wanted to order.

We called in our order and waited approximately five minutes in line. The staff was friendly, which added to the atmosphere of the restaurant.

The restaurant also offers outdoor seating, so you can enjoy the scenic view of central Oregon as you eat tasty food!

The Loading Dock

I tried the Loading Dock, a tasty sandwich comprised of turkey, ham, mozzarella, mayonnaise, lettuce, and tomato on a soft sourdough bread.

When I took the first bite, I could tell that The Sandwich Factory cares about quality. The vegetables were fresh (featuring an extra juicy tomato), the meats were delicious, and the soft sourdough bread was perfect for this sandwich.

The Loading Dock costs $7.95 for a half sandwich and $11.95 for a whole sandwich. It also comes with a bag of potato chips.

It is a good option for those looking to get a familiar sandwich elevated to planet deliciousness.

The host of the trip ordered the Assembly Line. This loaded sandwich features turkey, roast beef, salami, pastrami, cheddar, Swiss, mozzarella, and provolone cheese. You can also request vegetables to really load it up! It is a good choice for those who love lots of cheese and meat on their sandwich. It also comes with a bag of potato chips.

The Assembly Line costs $9.95 for 1/3rd, $11.95 for half, and $18.95 for a whole sandwich.

Now, for the grand finale of this article and our experience at The Sandwich Factory: The blueberry cinnamon roll!

The Sandwich Factory Oregon Blueberry Cinnamon Roll

It was my first time trying a blueberry cinnamon roll. The perfect blend of cinnamon and dough meets icing and stripes of delicious blueberry glaze.

Even after taking down the Loading Dock, I definitely said YES to ordering this scrumptious dessert. (I wish I had one right now!)

It was a delicious way to end the great experience at The Sandwich Factory!

We chose to spotlight The Sandwich Factory because of its passion for food, its expansive menu, and its commitment to feeding Prineville after being established over 40 years ago.
