Randy Santel and Katina Eats Kilos Dominate Pizza Challenge in Southern Illinois

The quiet town of Anna, Illinois, is home to Jordo's Pizzeria, a local pizza shop nestled in Southern Illinois that has been in business for over eight years.

Anthony and his wife Cindy own Jordo's. The name comes from their daughter Jordan, whose nickname is "Jordo."

Jordo's serves up classic and delicious foods, including pizza, pasta, burgers, and wings. They also make a massive pizza for those looking for a challenge.

The 18" Party Pizza Challenge is no joke. The pizza weighs six pounds and features five toppings: Pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms.

Challengers have just 30 minutes to finish the pizza. If the challenge results in a loss, challengers must pay $29.50 to the restaurant.

If challengers are successful, they get the pizza for free, a free Jordo's T-Shirt, and go up on the Jordo's Wall of Fame.

Brandon "Da Garbage Disposal" Clark holds the record for the 18" Party Pizza Challenge (with five toppings), completing it in six minutes and fifty-six seconds, an impressive time.

Other eaters that completed the challenge include "Eager" Ethan Teske, Kyle "The Hitman" Hall, and Derek Jacobs.

On Tuesday, May 31st, professional eaters Randy Santel and Katina Eats Kilos visited Jordo's Pizzeria to take on their 18" Party Pizza Challenge.

I arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 AM (CST) and was excited to attend this fun event and be part of the crowd cheering for Randy and Katina as they chowed their way to victory.

The smell of tasty pizza filled the air as the crowd prepared to watch Randy take on the challenge.

Randy attempted the 12-topping "mega supreme" 18" Party Pizza Challenge. He had 30 minutes to finish, and if he failed the challenge, he would owe $44 instead of $29.50, which is the price you pay if you lose the five-topping version of this challenge.

Randy's pizza included Italian sausage, hamburger meat, ham, pepperoni, salami, Canadian bacon, banana peppers, tomatoes, green peppers, black olives, mushrooms, and onions.

After the pizza came hot and fresh from the oven, Randy did his classic opening intro, spun his hat around to turn into "Atlas," and with a "1...2...3...BOOM," Randy started to go to work on the pizza.

Randy opted for a few glasses of water without ice to assist him in his battle against the pizza, which appeared to help as he took it down piece by piece without skipping a beat.

He also mentioned during the challenge that the marinara sauce and Italian sausage are made in-house at Jordo's.

With the crowd cheering for him, Randy powered through and, on the last bite, thanked Anthony (the owner) for contacting him about his pizza. He also thanked everyone that attended the event, a sign of true professionalism!

Randy got his $44 pizza for free, a free Jordo's t-shirt, and he will be the sixth person to go on the Wall of Fame.

He also became the first person to attempt and complete the 12-topping "mega supreme" 18" Party Pizza Challenge.

Randy completed the 12-topping pizza in 17 minutes and 48 seconds!

Katina Eats Kilos was up next after her pizza came hot and fresh from the oven.

Katina's pizza came with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms.

She took on the base challenge with five toppings and went with water and a diet soda to help get it all down.

After tying her hair back and taking down the first slice with ease, Katina was immediately on her way to dominating this pizza challenge while enjoying it simultaneously.

She also mentioned during the challenge that pizza is her favorite food group and that the one she was munching down on was juicy.

Katina maintained her speed throughout the challenge and displayed her eating skills in front of the crowd in attendance and on the Jordo's Pizzeria Facebook live stream. She also remained incredibly upbeat and made the challenge exciting to watch.

As the crowd erupted with applause on her final bite, Katina finished the challenge with a time of 15 minutes and 12 seconds, securing her spot as the first woman on the Wall of Fame and the seventh person overall. She also gets her $29.50 pizza on the house and a free Jordo's t-shirt!

This event was such a memorable experience. The crowd had such a fun time and displayed a love for food challenges, and it was a great experience to meet people who love food challenges as much as I do!

Randy and Katina were true professionals and greeted everyone as they came in the door to say hi and thank them for showing up to the event. They both ate their pizzas impressively and provided an unforgettable performance and experience.

It's official. I'm hungry for Jordo's pizza!
