Mike Jack Eats Heat is back at it again, looking for any spicy opportunity to test his impressive spice tolerance. Since we interviewed him, Mike has continued his quest of battling spicy foods. He also recently entered a pepper-eating contest in New Zealand.
It was not going to be easy, however. Mike was facing Greg "Iron Guts" Barlow, known for taking on the world's hottest food challenges. For example, Greg once ate 160 Carolina Reaper Peppers in one sitting!
The contest was held by League of Fire, a website that is dedicated to chili pepper eating contests, eater rankings, hot food products, and more.
It was a hard-fought battle featuring endless hot peppers with a lot of commitment from the competitors. Mike won the contest and secured his championship belt, with League of Fire ranking him as the world's chili pepper-eating champion.
Greg "Iron Guts" Barlow also put forth an impressive effort and remained cool, calm, and collected throughout the contest.
