Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria (BMPP) is more than just a spot to grab a slice—it's a destination for good times, hearty meals, and a relaxed atmosphere. With 10 locations across California, BMPP offers an expansive menu featuring pizza, pasta, salads, and sandwiches.
One of their highlights is the signature Gondola Pizza—a unique twist on the classic pizza in the shape of a gondola for an unforgettable dining experience.

But BMPP isn't just famous for its delicious menu offerings. They have also gained a reputation as a hot spot for food challenges that regularly go viral on social media.
Take, for example, the world's largest deliverable pizza—a record held by BMPP. It measures a whopping 54" by 54" and even requires a custom oven attachment and specially modified vehicles to create and deliver your very own pizza dream.
This behemoth translates to about 200 slices, and it's even available as a team challenge.
Thinking about taking it on? You'll need some friends, a big appetite, and plenty of courage to conquer it.

Next up is the Big Papa's Slice challenge, which features a unique speed-for-cash concept. The faster you eat, the more money you make. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, this isn't your average slice—it's as intimidating as it is massive.

BMPP recently posted a potential upcoming speed challenge where competitors would have to devour TWO of their Big Papa's Slices in just eight minutes.

Seems impossible, right?
Well, if a brave soul pulls it off, they'll take home an unbelievable prize: $100,000. If this becomes official, it would be the largest monetary payout from a food challenge victory ever.
It could even be certified by Guinness World Records and make it into the official record history books.
Naader "Freak Eating" Reda, a long-time competitive eater and Food Challenge News contributor, has faced the challenges offered at BMPP.

Here's what Naader had to say about his experiences:
"Over the years, I've completed the various pizza challenges that Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria has offered in Southern California. The other challenges were the 28" solo challenge and the 36" two-person challenge.
The staff is always welcoming, and they have a lot of confidence that you won't win. I have had good days and bad days there, but it's hard to call it a bad day when you're eating pizza!
Plus, when you win, you get cash. Hard to say that's a bad deal, getting paid to eat."

As of now, BMPP has only teased the $100,000 challenge on social media, with no official details about what happens for failed attempts or what locations will offer it.
This potentially historic food challenge is a developing story and will be updated if more information becomes available.
Until then, I'm off to grab some pizza!
